Los Angeles in May

I went to Los Angeles last weekend to take the CSET test for my California Teaching Certificate and to visit some old friends. I hung out at my friend Brad's place and we went to his girlfriend Jolene's birthday party Friday night. It ended up being a small Gelula reunion (the translation postproduction house where I worked 8-9 years ago in Beverly Hills). It was really good to see Ron, Leslie and Alex. Leslie's been doing great work as an assistant editor on some major movies such as "Miami Vice".

It was sooooo nice to be in the city again, to feel the cool, ocean breeze, to hang out with creative people, to eat really good, cheap Thai food. I'll be back next month.
