Labor Day Weekend 2007

My good friends Tim and Cat visited us back on Labor Day Weekend, and Tim sent me the photos recently. We all lived and worked in Tokyo in various capacities. They're now living in Berkeley and Tim is still a fantastic photographer. He shot some amazing pictures at my wedding in Hachinohe. Anyway, the above shot is Tim frolicking at the beach at Point Dume, near Malibu.

The view down onto the beach at Point Dume. Its fairly secluded and difficult to reach, which is just what we were looking for on such a crowded weekend.

We went surfing the next morning at Sunset, and it was a great, great day to go out, with head and overhead high waves. Even though it was incredibly crowded, I was able to get some good rides.
