Merry New Year, everyone

Happy New Year! It's 10:41 am on New Years' Day 2008 and I can't believe that I'm up and somewhat about. I have the end of the Middlesborough Everton game on and am feeling a bit out of it. We spent last night restaurant and barhopping around our neighborhood, which was fantastic. We had great sushi at En Sushi, then walked down the street to one of my favorite bars, the Good Luck Bar on Hillhurst.

We had the whole place to ourselves, and a few Mai Tais and Fists of Fury later, we moved on to the 4100 Club on Sunset and then stumbled on home for champagne. All in all, it was a fun evening.
I hope everyone has a great 2008- my 2007 was truly intense and eye-opening. See y'all out there!

eye-opening? what have you loearnt then?
have you LEARNT how to spell? maybe you can teach me...
What have I learned? Well, it's more like what have I seen. I've learned how to "manage" students, not "control" them. I've discovered the best place to buy vegetables in East Hollywood. Also in Little Tokyo downtown, the sidewalks are detailed with the information on which shops were closed down on which spot at which time due to racist intolerance before, during and after WWII.
