Navigating the Narrows

Sunday Edie and I drove out north of Azusa in the San Gabriels to hike up to the Narrows, along a fairly fast-flowing creek in the ravine separating Mt. Baden-Powell from Iron Mt. and Mt. Baldy. It was pretty impressive. The trail was good, though it disappeared at times at inopportune spots, like when you're looking for the right place to cross the creek.



It was a gorgeous day, couldn't ask for better weather.

I love hiking these canyons. Maybe more next week.
