36....

Yesterday was my 36th birthday, and after a great 5 am surfing session at the spot where Sunset Boulevard hits the Pacific Coast Highway 1, we retired for dinner that evening to a great Mexican restaurant on the other end of Sunset, where it turns into Cesar Chavez Boulevard, Alegria. The picture above shows my lovely girlfriend Edie on the left, and my old friend and surfing buddy Dawn on the right. Another friend of mine from Cal State, Jessica, showed up as well, and she's sitting next to me in the photo below.



I had a fantastic mole with chicken. The place is cash only and byob, so we were drinking Bohemia and Negra Modelo which went nicely with the gourmet Mexican dishes. The next picture shows Edie and Dawn devouring the chocolate chimichanga.
