Rincon

A few weeks ago I visited Rincon, a small elbow of land nudging itself towards the Channel Islands just southeast of Santa Barbara on Pacific Highway 1. It's also known around the world as a fantastic surfing spot. There weren't a lot of waves that day, but I wanted to check it out for myself before some bigger days showed up.

Even with little to no swell, there were some surfers out there catching the dregs. You can just see the Channel Islands in the distance.



And here's a better shot of the Channel Islands. I cannot wait to get back out here on a big day, during the week, driving out early in the morning.
