To the Top of Mt. Williamson



Last weekend I hiked to the top of Mt. Williamson in the San Gabriel Mts. I started hiking off the Angeles Crest Trail at about 6800 ft., and hiked up to the summit at 8432 ft. The views were magnificent, the sun was out, a cool breeze was blowing, and barely anyone out at all. A fantastic hike.

A shot from the summit, looking east. This hike is meant as one of a number of warm-ups for Mt. Baldy, which is just over that ridgeline.
